I will dominate 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the pair met personally to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.

Former twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.

Physical Difference

As both boxers participated in the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly happening.
